The boat
A standard wooden boat is chartered whole, for the whole day, and split between however many of you there are. Ask for price.

Costs
What lands in a predictable band, what does not, and an honest note on the figures that are only reported.
Budget roughly Rp 400,000–700,000 per person for a full day at Riung including a shared boat seat, a room, meals and the entrance retribusi.
Where the money goes
Published ranges. Treat the boat as the one you can move.

Rp 150,000–375,000 a night for a fan-cooled room in a guesthouse walking distance from the harbour.

Rp 20,000–40,000 a meal at a warung. Boat lunch is usually extra unless the price says otherwise.

The honest caveat
We have not found a published Riung tariff document. The entrance figures here come from independent Indonesian sources, and the boat ranges from what operators actually quote.
That is why every number on this page carries a range rather than a price. If you find an official sheet, we would like to see it.
Riung boats are arranged locally, at the pier. For the Komodo leg or a full Flores itinerary, the reservations desk answers on WhatsApp.
